“I've been getting my hair done at Studio B for almost a year now. I have curly 2c/3A hair. My stylist Hannah is moving to Arizona so I'll be helped by Paige going forward. Hannah was amazing and I look forward to the similar services from Paige, one of the other curly hair specialists. The prices are so reasonable. I was paying around $100 for a curly cut, wash and style at my old place. Studio B has provided me with better quality results and is far cheaper. The studio itself is beautiful. Exposed brick and ginormous windows filled with all sorts of plants. Always clean and staff is always friendly. I never feel judged or uncomfortable. I will be coming here for a while!“

“This place is "walk in friendly". If you know what you want and the cut that suits you, this is where you should go. Everywhere else may be overspending.

The owner of this salon, Kait, will probably never see this review as she doesn't believe in listings but she deserves it nonetheless. If you are looking to get a standard yet decent, haircut, highlights, cover gray on roots, or single, all over color, without having to wait for an appointment x weeks from now, inexpensive, no fuss surroundings, then her place is the one to visit. When I need any of the above service, I call on the same day, and I usually get in with minimal wait. It shocks me how much she charges for all the above services, including services like shampoo and blowdry and flat iron. I've seen her do total color change on other clients--dark hair to pink, platinum blonde--or even platinum highlights. A haircut is included in all her coloring services. Kate also does standard waxing service.

I go elsewhere when I want a more modern haircut or style (especially for layers) but I do visit Kate for everything else. Recently, I decided to only use organic, very low chemical products on my hair and she agreed to apply it on me for a very minimal labor fee. Yes, she is willing to use your own products on you if you wish. That is no longer very common these days. I cannot overstate how low her rates are by today's standard but the quality is fine. I've had worse and have still been charged an arm and a leg!“
