“Dr Richard Mello is the owner & vet. He is very dedicated to his patients & although he retired many years ago..he is still there treating his patients most days.WAH is very busy and the worldwide shortage of vets does not help. They are overwhelmed by people bringing their babies to them. They are often booked at least a month out for routine visits. They do their best to accommodate emergency calls. WAH tries to keep their fees reasonable and will work out a payment plan with you if you're honest!Dr Mello's daughter, Dr Jodi is also an experienced excellent vet there for many years. I've heard another long time vet is retiring soon. They have reduced their hours since COVID to Monday- Friday.I highly recommend WAH.“

“What an experience! Just took Milo, our 2 yr. old Border Collie, to Claudia’s Furry Tailz and will never go anywhere else! Claudia was so patient with him and addressed all our concerns about him not liking to be touched. He's highly sensitive to being brushed,bathing and noise. I still can't believe she was able to give him the full Spaw treatment! I'm amazed. I can’t thank her enough for doing such a thorough job with Milo ❤️ already booked an appointment for our older BC! highly recommend!!!!“

“We needed dog boarding and found this fantastic business. Casey was great, as we were nervous because our Rat Terrier Rosie is a nervous dog. But what a great job Casey did with her. He loves dogs you can just see it in his eyes. He sent us pictures almost every day and kept us up to date on how Rosie was doing. His 2 little girls fell in love with Rosie and had tears in their eyes when Rosie came home with us. You couldn’t find a more caring dog care provider than Casie. I recommend him 1 million per cent. “My husband and I love Sakonnet grooming! We used to bring our bernese mix to a different groomer in the Warren/Bristol area & he would shake and not want to get out of the car. We unfortunately attributed this to him not liking the groomers.But thankfully we decided to try Sakonnet and he has done a total 180 with how he reacts to the groomers. He absolutely loves going there & you can tell that they really care about animals, especially the owner.I feel awful for bringing him to that other place for so long where he was clearly mistreated based on how terrified he would get.But I definitely recommend sakonnet grooming! Such a great place with great staff“

“I can’t say enough how amazing this place is. I brought in both my dogs, a super anxious 17 year old malti-poo rescue and a malinois. They gave my senior dog a medicated bath and they had him looking wonderful. First time he has ever come back from a groomers and not been a shaking mess. My hyper Malinois came back with a full de-shed, short nails ( no floor clicking!!) We have gone back 3 times now, and both dogs actually wag their tails when we show up, to go with their friends. I can’t say enough how much of a surprise it was to find this place. Both Jessie and Alisha have worked on my dogs and I highly recommend them!“

“I’ve been going to sakonnet vet for yearrrssss. First with a cat, then a small dog and now my big German Shepard. The stuff are nothing short of amazing. Always super friendly and caring both of our fury children and of us. They were all saints when I was pregnant and struggling with my large German Shepard.Only downfall is, the availability of appointments. But that is not their fault ! The number of vets out there is just low. I’m so thankful that we found them and have them.“
