I bought super cool glasses at Wakefield Optical. Great service, friendly and helpful. I had bought prescription sunglasses in Charlotte. They were not interested in replacing the lenses, at my expense, that the darkening film had peeled off. Wakefield Optical gladly replaced them at 1/4 the cost offered from point of original purchase. LOVE supporting my local businesses.

I have been using Wakefield Optical for over 15 years. I found them after my late partner had tried another place in Wakefield where they made glass lenses. Wakefield Optical was incredulous. They were so heavy he had to have them remade in plastic. I have both gotten frames from them and brought in my own frames. They know their lenses. I have progressives and as an artist, have certain requirements. They have always recommended the best lens for my needs.

Locally owned and operated. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Large array of glasses and sunglasses at reasonable prices. I've been going to them since I was 10 years old and I've never been disappointed by any of their products or their work. They always make sure you are satisfied and happy to make adjustments any time you stop back in.
