I have never heard of Formless Fitness (FF)before. I was just scrolling Google for gyms, until one day I saw “FF”. I was a little anxious about making an appointment (I was 230 pounds, considered obese), but I wanted to make a change for myself. So, when I met up with the trainer Will Wu (which also the owner of the gym), he gave off a very positive and passionate vibe for working out. He works with you every step of the way depending on how many days he meets with you. For me it’s only been two days a week. I have been training here with Will for two years and I enjoyed every workout session since day one. Will made every workout (one-on-one and group training) super personalized, pushing me and my training partners just the right amount to feel the burn but also keeping it fun. Having Will as my personal trainer, I have not only become physically stronger but also grown to love exercising and trusting my body more. Highly recommend Will and his gym to everyone who is looking forward to stepping up their fitness journey!
I came to Will last September with no strength training experience whatsoever. He made me feel welcomed and tailored a plan for me to achieve my goal which was to improve my physical and mental health in a timely and financially feasible manner. I've trained initially with Berly who boosted my confidence in training by giving me positive feedback and reinforcement, and I found this approach of "establishing confidence first, then focusing on building skillsets" very helpful, especially for someone who can get intimidated by weight training.As I'm getting stronger, I now train more often with Will for both 1-on-1 and group sessions, which tend to be more intense.
