Kookie came highly referred by a client of mine Who has used her for two separate refinishing projects. I’m very glad I used her and her team. Not only was pricing fair, but she was communicative and timely with the work. She completed a full sand and refinish of my floors, and left very little dust. There were one or two small areas that the floors had been raised from cupping, and she sanded and used wood filler to fix the holes. Thank you kookie and your team.

Our house had worn carpets, but hardwood throughout. We figured it would be an easy and profitable move to go back to hardwood. After removing the carpets, we discovered stains, residue, scratches, and faded spots. The hardwood looked like crap, and new carpeting was five times my budget. I made several phone calls to refinishing companies, and the prices were way out of my budget. I was thinking that I screwed myself into several weekends of sanding and varnish. The last company I called was K & K. I talked to Cookie, she met me at the house the next morning, and I liked the price to refinish the downstairs. She even scheduled us quickly so we wouldn't be inconvenienced. I'm very happy with the results. Originally we wanted to save a few bucks and refinish the dining and living room. After we saw the result, we were an easy fold to refinish the bedrooms. Eighty years of old varnish gone, the floors look super new, and we can't believe how modern, bright and airy the rooms look. I'm sure we added a lot of value to the house, much more than carpeting ! I was surprised to read a bad review on yelp. This is a difficult, dirty job, which most people would have a hard time completing. They are hard working, diligent people, everything was left clean, and they finished on time. P.S. If you have to work, would have no trouble leaving a key with them, they were left alone all day and nothing was out of order.
