They also forgot to file my income tax return – twice.

I’ve been a customer for over 14 years. Over the last 4 years, I have seen a steady decline in service starting with FFG forgetting to file my 2019 return. The IRS thanked me for my payment but said no return was filed. FFG told me it was a computer error.

This year, again, FFG forgot to file my return. I only discovered this after calling the RI Dept of Revenue to find out the status of my refund. RI Dept of Revenue confirmed my returns were only filed the day I asked FFG for the update – 7 weeks after giving them signed 1040s.

My husband and I hired Flynn Financial (Travis specifically) to file 2 very simple prior year state tax amendments in May 2024. We paid $400 for this service in May. Today is July 3, 2024 and we’ve learned that the amendments were never filed. I called the office and was told I would receive a call back the next day, but of course I received no such call. It seems I will have to go there in person and either demand a refund or get someone to file the amendments in front of me. As a CPA myself, I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and the breach of contract. I will be filing a complaint with the state board against Travis today.
