As a military guy, the weekends are my go-to time to get personal stuff like haircuts done, and Five Star has always made time to take care of me!! But, do yourself (and the barbers) the courtesy of making an appointment: they can get really busy.
Bottom line, military or not, walk-in or appointment, it’s ALWAYS worth it!

Needed a last minute cut for a wedding in Newport. Hard to find a good barber open on Sundays. Found Five Stars through Google, booked a cut immediately and Ray got me looking right. Probably the best cut I’ve had in years honestly, wish these guys were closer to where I live! Highly recommend.Services: Haircut

Gary is hands down the best barber in New England.He takes pride in his work and runs a phenomenal shop. Gary was my go-to barber for the entire time I was stationed in Newport. To anyone working or going to school at NAVSTA Newport, ditch the NEX barbers and book an appointment with Gary ASAP. I will absolutely come back to this shop anytime the Navy decides to bring me back to RI!
