I had some tension + soreness in my body, so there was some discomfort, BUT it was worth it. “I started seeing Alana at Whole You beauty in 2020; and will never see anyone else again. Post some impulsive DIY hair choices; my already thin hair was damaged and broken. I wanted to find someone I could see semi-regularly and sort of nurse it back to health.
I now can proudly say I have long, beautiful, healthy growing hair. No thanks to me. She does beautiful, subtle things to the color as well. She’s incredibly gracious, open to any and all idea's, and recognizes the power hair holds to some of us.
Additionally, I’m quite fond of the experience. While sunlit and in the heart of Wayland square; the location offers a lot more privacy than most salons I’ve been to. This translates to a more custom feeling experience.
10/10 best place, in virtually every capacity, to get one’s hair done.

“I had a lash lift and tint with Jolene in December and I am so thrilled with the results! I got through the holiday season without ever feeling the need to curl my lashes or use mascara. It’s been over a month and the curl is still there! I had never had my lashes done before but Jolene made me feel very comfortable with the process.Randomly, the day of my appointment there was a tropical storm and the whole street lost power about halfway through my lash lift. Jolene got through the whole thing with makeshift lighting and everyone there was so professional; I felt really secure at the salon despite the chaotic weather outside.“
