I called several local and chain eyeglass stores and felt fortunate that I had come across Mark at Shalmar.Immediately Mark's calm and informative demener set me at ease. He explained he could have a set of eyeglasses rushed in, but do to my prescription, it could take a week... he saw the stress in my face as I was noticeably contemplating to myself how will I take care of my family and my businesses without the ability to see or drive... he then took my lenses from my broken pair of glasses, scanned his entire inventory and found a frame that would surprisingly fit!!! Mark saved the day!!I was so happy with his service that I also ordered an additional designer pair of frames and lenses to help support this wonderful local business.Our eyesight is precious and who you trust with it matters. I don’t know if they get a commission for selling, but it sure seemed like it. I ended up spending $400 on a pair of glasses I never wear because: a) I hate how they look on me; and b) they weren’t really what I was looking for. This office has always advanced with the times and brought in new ocular technology each year to make the experience easier for patients. “New to the neighborhood, I found this office online. At the time I was experiencing a serious ocular migraine. The office is small, comfortable and clean. The front desk staff is super friendly and professional. The doctor asked me lots of questions, gave me a thorough work up, and took the time to explain things to me. I most appreciated that the doctor sent me to my primary physician before prescribing me lenses to ensure that the migraine wasn't causing my prescription to be skewed. That gave me a sense of genuine care, rather than feeling like he was cashing in on my insurance.“
