“My girlfriend and I came here for the first time last Wednesday. From the second we came through the doors to the time we walked out we received incredible service. We were immediately welcomed and seated and given time to look through the selection of teas. The tea selection alone was impressive, there were many caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks. Certainly something for everyone. I ended up going with the classic English black and my girlfriend went to the chai. BOTH were very rich in flavor but smooth at the same time. None of the bitter aftertaste. Sharon was the most pleasant host, she sat with us and explained how a traditional afternoon tea is meant to be enjoyed. We were encouraged to please take our time and stay as long as we wanted. The food itself was delicious. There was a lovely selection of freshly baked savory and sweet treats. We didn't even get to finish it all. I am still having dreams about the sausage and apricot pie! We later learned that the shop was not even supposed to be open on that day, however, Sharon still made us feel completely welcome and comfortable and not at all like she was trying to rush us out the door. It was the complete opposite feeling of being in an American restaurant or tea shop. This was so calm and relaxing I could've spent the entire day there! We are already planning on who to bring here next. Overall a very lovely experience!“
