Once we aligned on the best fix, Rouben and his team partnered with Terminix to implement a highly complex fix to our damaged beams while also allowing for remediation of the still-active termite issue.

On top of this, when the project met some complications and went over-budget, Rouben and his team honored our original cost.

“We have used Rhode Island Kitchen and Bath for three different homes over the past 6 years. Each time we have been extremely happy with their professionalism, attention to detail, follow-through and the ability to complete work exactly on time. The latest project was a multi-room renovation of our kitchen, powder room and the primary bathroom.

Our design consultant, Kingsley Catalucci, has always been a great listener who is collaborative in the design process and takes pride in making the design experience fulfilling for the customer. Scott Erno, who was our project manager all three times, is a consummate professional who cares about his work and is meticulous in completing his work to the highest standards. Scott was on the job every day, making sure that work was proceeding according to schedule and that it was done at the highest level of workmanship. Our design build coordinator, Craig Berube, is very accommodating and helpful. In addition, he caught a number of plumbing and electrical problems that needed to be addressed as well as a gas leak we were not aware of.

Overall, we were extremely satisfied customers and honestly couldn’t imagine having a better experience with the renovation process. From the first design meeting with Kingsley to the on-time completion of the project, Rhode Island Kitchen and Bath exceeded all of our expectations. RIKB is a top notch company from top to bottom and it runs like a well-oiled machine.

“I purchased a kitchen island from amazon and it was one of the first nicer pieces of furniture my wife and I purchased together since getting married in April. We were on a budget but wanted professional assembly of such a nice piece. Mike and Jim were not only skilled, professional and affordable; they were kind, personable and so incredibly nice! They even asked me where I wanted it to go and leveled it out! So impressed. Not a scratch on it and it is PERFECT! “Modern Yankee Builders did a multi-room remodeling for us. They were involved from the conceptual phase (the beginning), through planning, all the way to the end. It was a great experience from beginning to end, everything was fantastic from the design ideas to the professionalism and punctuality, and of course the work itself was beautiful. (And Joe is a great guy, important if he's going to be around your house for a while). A few years later now (2017-first project was 2013), we've had Joe back to do a massive remodeling project for us, we demoed an entire floor of my house, studs, floor, and exterior wall included. We rebuilt a family room and master bed/bath in the space. As always with Modern Yankee, every detail is beautiful and all timing issues and unexpected problems were taken care of. There are so many remodeling horror stories out there that they're almost the norm; with Modern Yankee everything stays on schedule and ends up looking even better than imagined. And as before, Joe is a pleasure to work with, always important for someone that's going to be around for an extended period of time.
