“After reading all these negative reviews, I couldn't help but wonder if this was the same company I've been dealing with for years now. I have no personal connection to this company. They were recommended to me by a friend who is even more difficult to please than I am. Not that I am questioning the reviews from those who have had issues, but, my experience has been so different from what others are reporting. I'm on a prepaid plan for lawn treatments, and generally the same crew comes for each treatment for which I get a few days notice ahead of time. The crew is always polite, efficient and knowledgeable in addressing my concerns. In fact one day this summer, the young woman who comes regularly, rang my bell to say that while she passed by my house on her way to my neighbor's house, she noticed a large burned area of grass and thought maybe the fertilizer application had caused that. I assured her that this patch was most likely caused by the old cement walkway that had been covered over in grass and the heat from the summer sun had burnt it. Nonetheless, she promised to return to treat it and she indeed did, at no charge. Very proactive and responsible. I was impressed. Is my lawn perfect, no, are there times I have to call to get some weeds zapped between treatments, yes. But lawns are high maintenance. I'm slowly reducing mine because of this. But, unlike what others have experienced, I get responses and follow through. I've had lots of different (mostly big national companies) over the years at the various homes I've owned, so I know bad service. I'm sorry that others have had such negative experiences and hope that Seascape will work w/these people and make it right. For me personally, Seascape is by far the most responsive and trustworthy lawn service company I've ever contracted. And, it's a bonus they are locally owned business.“
