I went in for my first appointment just for a routine eye exam. I found everyone at the front desk very easy to schedule with and Dr. McMahon very thorough and knowledgeable during the exam. I was very happy to find a new optometrist and didn't anticipate returning for a second visit so quickly. Within a few days of my appointment I got something in my eye when walking outside in the wind. I finally called several days later when it became even more irritated and they worked me in the same day. I hadn’t been to see an eye doctor in years, but I had heard great things about Modern Eyes. Dr. Gianfrancesco and his team were so welcoming and helpful! Beyond their kindness, they were timely and explained every one of their many tests. And, like the name implies, their equipment is very modern! They didn’t even need to dilate my eyes to do the same exam! In short, if you are considering a new eye doctor for any reason, you can expect to be well taken care of at Modern Eyes.

I happened to be in the Providence area and had to find an eyecare place quick because my toddler accidentally smashed into my face (not unusual) and made my extremely fragile and expensive French glasses sit at a 45° angle on my nose. I was devastated. I literally ran into modern eye and asked if anyone could fix my glasses and Annalise (sp.?) came over smiling, whisked away with my glasses and was back within 5 minutes with them nearly perfectly restored, and sent me on my way with no charge, still smiling!
