“Gina Marie did an amazing job on my wedding makeup and hair. She was the most accommodating person and so helpful, offering guidance and suggestions. My husband and I planned a hiking elopement and I was so worried my makeup and hair wouldn’t last the hike. But I had nothing to worry about! I did a long hike in 80 degree weather with high humidity after my trial and everything stayed put! I also don’t use a lot of makeup so she was so helpful in guiding me for what would work best. I was so happy with how the pictures turned out. And beyond that, Gina is such a wonderful person, making the experience so great! I can’t recommend her enough!“

“Elena at Calma Salon is a beautiful soul and a very talented stylist. She fixed my nightmare self hair cut from home, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Ladies, put down the scissors and go see Elena. The salon is lovely and comfortable, and Elena will make you feel like a glamour girl in her chair. She also does men’s cuts, and I saw her work, skillful and efficient and the gentleman left looking stylish in 15 minutes flat. Thank you so much for making my day and giving me a gorgeous cut that reflected what I wanted to begin with when I hacked it myself LOL, but of course even better than I imagined! “What an amazing group of very talented people! I had a very last minute change & needed my hair & makeup done for some very close friends wedding at the Aldrich Mansion yesterday! I live over 2 hrs away & am unfamiliar with the area so I went with online reviews & found something close to the venue at the last minute. These wonderful ladies fit me in for both my hair & makeup & I could not have been happier! I have never had so many compliments before & I am a complete tomboy so this is not my area of expertise at all. These ladies made me look & feel amazing. From our initial conversations to working through the day-of timeline of my wedding with hair and makeup for 12 people, she put me at ease throughout the planning process. I did a trial with Jaclynn a few months before my wedding and it turned out beautifully! The day of our wedding on Block Island, there was inclement weather limiting the ferry schedule that day. Jaclynn went absolutely above and beyond to make sure my bridal party was taken care of on my wedding day. She was able to recreate the look from my trial and everyone in my party was really happy with the work they did. Her team is professional, flexible, and very talented.
