Best barber in Rhode Island. Took me a couple years to find him after hopping from barber to barber. Gives a reliable, quick, good old fashioned haircut. Surprising how hard it is to find that. He doesn’t take walk-ins anymore, so give him a call and he’ll book you an appointment (pretty easy to get in same day if you call in the morning). Parking is easy, on the street right out front. He charges $20 for a men’s haircut and takes about 10-15min.

I wanted to update my review from 2012. I've always been a "barber hopper" and after 4 years I know I'll never change again! I'm a 30 something professional and Ralph specializes in cutting men's hair in a way that will make you look great. My wife, who always wanted me to go to these high end salons, now swears by Ralph and his superior knowledge and skill. If you're looking for that coif you can be proud of check out Ralph at City Hall Barber.

When I moved to Cranston, I took a chance on this little place... Ralph is a funny, sweet guy, and I always come out looking and feeling great! Even after I moved to another part of town, I still make the drive to City Hall Barber Shop, because I have no worries about the consistency of quality and service from Ralph. There may be a small wait, but it's never an issue for me, the waiting area is clean and well stocked with reading material. I recommend his shop to my buddies, and some of them go there as well. And he vacuums your head to clean up stray hair clippings... how awesome is that???
