Silver Leaf Forestry just took down a towering, leaning red oak in my back yard, that was hanging over a shed, but also threatening my house, and worked around everything without incident. They then very skillfully removed branches threatening my power/cable lines to the house in the front yard. They have a tall-bucket truck and all the equipment needed for any job as far as I can see. They arrived on time (8am) as promised, and were efficient and left the place clean. John and his team did a great job and I very highly recommend them.

These guys are awesome. Watching John skillfully climb a tree and dismantle limbs is incredibly satisfying. He wields a Stihl expertly, raining branches down which are then dispatched by the Silver Leaf team. Silver Leaf Forestry has been my go-to for tree work since John started it years ago. I can always count on him to know what has to be done and for him and his team to do the work impeccably. Not only do they take down trees with great care, they leave the areas on which they’ve worked immaculate. Recently and in response to my concern that tree branches had begun to overhang my roof, John squeezed me into his work calendar and took down the culprits-- several saplings. Because he so attuned to plant life, he also removed a dead mountain laurel (unnoticed by me) and pruned the branches of some trees.
