“Bob’s review We are six months out from our kitchen overhaul with Bob and we can’t speak more highly of the experience. We hired Bob to gut and rebuild our kitchen during the pandemic. Our home is 99 years old and when we initially met with Bob to discuss the project he laid out all of the potential challenges he anticipated based on our house’s age. Bob knew what he was up against and showed he was ready for it from day one. In the end our additional costs were minimal and we were ready because Bob had prepared us. As we went through the process Bob kept us informed and was always clear on what to expect. Bob worked with great partners to get us quality materials and we ended up with a beautiful kitchen. It’s also worth mentioning that he is respectful and trustworthy. I was working at home during the renovation and it was a comfortable and friendly atmosphere where I felt at ease. “Modern Yankee Builders did a multi-room remodeling for us. They were involved from the conceptual phase (the beginning), through planning, all the way to the end. It was a great experience from beginning to end, everything was fantastic from the design ideas to the professionalism and punctuality, and of course the work itself was beautiful. (And Joe is a great guy, important if he's going to be around your house for a while). A few years later now (2017-first project was 2013), we've had Joe back to do a massive remodeling project for us, we demoed an entire floor of my house, studs, floor, and exterior wall included. We rebuilt a family room and master bed/bath in the space. As always with Modern Yankee, every detail is beautiful and all timing issues and unexpected problems were taken care of. There are so many remodeling horror stories out there that they're almost the norm; with Modern Yankee everything stays on schedule and ends up looking even better than imagined. And as before, Joe is a pleasure to work with, always important for someone that's going to be around for an extended period of time. Exquisite work, no hassles, on schedule, pleasure to work with...what more can I say?“

“Jose and his team did a wonderful job on my living room ceiling. A section of the ceiling was damaged by water. They had to cut out the damaged sheet rock, replaced it and then tape it, texture the area and the paint the entire ceiling. They did an excellent job. The replaced area cant be seen and you would never know there was a repair and replacement. They protected the room and furniture with coverings and they cleaned up the area at the end of the day and left it very neat. I was very satisficed with the job and I would not hesitate to hire them again.“

“After having a bad experience with another contracting company, I was lucky to have found Elite Contracting. Not only did they fix what was left unfinished or incorrectly done by the previous company, I ended up hiring them to refinsih and update my bathroom. Tommy the owner and operator as well as Master GC on the job site checked in with me on progress and the days expected work load every morning before beginning work. When unforseen issues arose, they were communicated and remedied with effeciency and respect to me as the client given possible timeline changes to the expected completion date of the project. If you have ever had business dealings with contractors you know communication is always a problem. NOT with Elite Contracting. I felt like my needs and expectations were met, I was treated as person and not just a number. They even went out of their way to help shuttle the return of excess materials that I didnt need for the job that were purchased at the direction of the previous contractor whom I fired. I highly recommend this company and will be utilizing them in the future on other projects.“

“South Eastern Carpentry recently rebuilt my screened porch. We had a few contractors come out to bid the job. South Eastern Carpentry was not the cheapest, but they are the best. Right from the bid stage, we knew Steve and his crew was the right team. Steve told us exactly what his plan was and he executed to that plan. We chose the best decking material available; Azek. The team came on time per their plan, and stayed a week, per the plan, doing the work. Their attention to detail was amazing. The quality was 2nd to none. They finished on time and met their quote. From my meeting with the salesman, David, when he explained all of the costs and benefits associated with solar panels, to the installation, everything went smoothly. The day before my installation, there was a huge windstorm that blew shingles off of my roof and United repaired that damage at no cost to me- even thought they had nothing to do with the storm!
