Easily worth every penny - the stylists, in the two times i've been, have been nothing short of phenomenal in their patience, skill and friendliness. As a service worker for a large portion of my adult life, take it from me that by itself that is a very, very high bar.
I intend to come by every time I need a new haircut or when I eventually get it dyed too :3
My daughter and her girlfriend who are both members of the LGBTQ community needed a safe space to receive a long overdue haircut. We discovered Salon Freyja via the 'Strands for Trans' website. Both my daughter and her partner were treated with kindness and received wonderful haircuts in a warm, welcoming and calm atmosphere. Thanks to the staff, especially Serena and Chika, for providing a safe and welcoming space for those who want to look and feel their best. You are each talented stylists and kind people. Your commitment to humans cannot be overstated.
First time client and not the last! I had the pleasure of having Laura Kelly take care of me and I am so incredibly happy with the results. I'm AuDHD and have some sensory issues, which Laura understood and warned me every step of the way about any noise or discomfort I may feel. She taught me how to take care of my hair and was not judgemental at all. I was not forced AT ALL to buy any products either. I've never had an experience like this before, it truly is a core memory for me now! Thank you Laura! See you in a few months! ?
