A young person here, very happy with the cut that Franco made for me. It’s nice to still find simplicity and humanity in this type of exchange. Excellent handling of the tools, I felt from the start that I was in the hands of a professional. It's not always easy to find a good hairdresser in a city you don't live in! Thank you Franco and I will come back when I return to Montreal.

INI went to Franco's salon today, and I have to say that all the negative reviews on Google are not true at all. Franco is a real barber who uses all the tools at his disposal, such as scissors, razors, and combs. He did not use an electric razor even for the rough finishing of my thick beard. He has great skill with his hands, despite being 85 years old, and has a passion for his work.Franco is a super sociable person: all I had to do was ask him a simple question, and he told me his whole life story, from the first time he met his father after World War II to when he decided to move his salon to Avenue Mont Royal. The price is really incredible, $25 for a haircut and...read full review

Great, cheap, fast haircuts. He really knows what he’s doing, and has pride in his profession. Learned as a kid in Italian barbershops, then studied and was part of the barbers’ union, when it existed.

If you want something that’s not old-school/« classic » men’s cut, just bring a photo and show him. Works for me with my hipster haircuts.

Cash only, but that’s normal for barbers.
