I went there as a visit to learn how to traditionally make paper. Fantastic people with fine quality of paper! Highly recommend to give it a visit!
I went to the St-Armand stationery as part of a guided tour to learn how to make paper the traditional way. The team is incredible and super nice, plus their papers are of excellent quality! I highly recommend a visit!!
We have worked with David Carruthers at Papeterie St-Armand over the years. Superb quality of workmanship and the availability of a traditional Fourdrinier paper machine make this an ideal spot to manufacture paper for different research trials.
One of the city's true hidden gems: a fully functioning paperworks tucked away inside a big, nondescript building along the banks of the mighty Lachine Canal, "the cradle of Canadian industry." For over 30 years, Papeterie St-Armand has been the base of operations for master papermaker David Carruthers, the site out of which he produces his legendary Canal Paper, among other varieties. Note: only open to the public on Fridays.
