About École de conduite CAA-Québec

École de conduite CAA-Québec offers driving classes and related services, with a focus on both theory and in-car practice. Many students have found their instructors to be excellent, gaining confidence and learning useful tricks during their sessions. Notably, instructors like Raza and Charmaine receive positive feedback for their teaching skills. However, experiences with instructors can vary, as some students report that certain instructors are impatient or ill-mannered, making the experience instructor-dependent. The school's administrative process for booking in-car sessions is straightforward, with options to do so online, by phone, or email. Despite this, communication from the school has received mixed reviews. Some students have faced issues with rescheduling exams and notices of closures, which caused frustration. Improvements in communication have been noted recently, with better updates and helpful front desk staff, though workload seems heavy for the staff member on duty. Overall, students appreciate the quality of instruction and the learning gained, but many suggest that the school should enhance its communication and organizational aspects to provide a smoother experience. The school continues to work on these improvements, aiming to better serve students' needs.

The instructors lack patience and professionalism. I’ve gotten screamed at for normal mistakes beginners make. Their short temper and childish attitude makes it really hard for the students to thrive and actually learn how to drive. I don’t recommend this school, bad service, horrible instructors and it’s overall just a miserable experience for everyone.
Also, I don’t understand how I’m paying for an hour long driving class and im only doing at best 40 minutes of driving. Change the staff

I took only 5 modules of theory in this school with Raza, i switched schools afterwards but so far the poor theory is aparently a Montreal problem in general, because teachers are giving lessons strictly by book and book is useless) i learned NOTHING, every module is just yapping, random videos in french for english speaking groups and teacher doesn't even care, the management is meh, even if receptionist girls are very friendly and nice, no one cared that i stopped paying, also they give you additional fees if you will miss class and you will need to pay extra for your g1 and i guess g2 and car rental :) I am just ... disappointed? I wanted to know rules and signs and...read full review

I do not recommend this driving school. The on-road lessons were ineffective and unprofessional. Although I paid for one-hour sessions, they often ended after only 45 minutes. Instructors were distracted and did not provide proper guidance. Because of the poor training, I had to take additional courses at another driving school in order to successfully obtain my license (Tecnic, much more serious). Save your time and money by choosing a more reliable school.
