On a beautiful day in October 2023, arriving from Laval, a dozen brave men, as well as a courageous young woman, arrived at our home in Mt-Tremblant to re-roof our house. The work began at 7:00 AM and some 175 bundles of shingles later, at exactly 5:00 PM, they all packed up, their work finished. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to see how mutual aid and camaraderie reigned among all these people. When water infiltrated through our roof into the basement, the company responded very quickly to our emergency call despite construction holidays.
