Just avoid this company at all costs.Aside from year after year of property damage from snow removal, they do not show up after a snow storm to certain areas of DDO.They will show up to adjacent streets, multiple times a day, but if you do like to gamble, chances are, you might have a hard time getting out of your driveway in the morning, and once you return home from work, you'll notice that they still haven't been to your house, even though clients of Ricks, two streets over, will already have snow melted in the their driveways.

Not sure if I'd normally give 5, but a solid 4 for sure. The 5 stars is to offset the negative reviews here...I suspect spam reviews from competitors (?). In my experience, Ricks has never missed a snowfall, and times it well....unlike some complaints to the contrary, I appreciate that they seem very well coordinated with the city. This allows me to clear the few feet from the meter or so in front of the garage into the drive so they take that out as well. More importantly, their coming after the city ensures that I don't then have to shovel out the heap at the end of the driveway left by the plow. There have been two heavy snowfalls to date this season, and both times the service came past 4 PM, over 6 hours after the city came to clean the streets. The quality of the service is an unacceptable as the delay in receiving it: both times the service failed to adequately remove the snow at the end of the driveway and I had to go out and shovel it myself, as did most of my neighbours who also have this service. They are unreachable by phone. On the plus side, it has galvanized my decision to not renew my contract with them next year, or at any point in the future.
