I wanted to take this time to thank you ALL for doing such a wonderful service for both of my Grandparents who died just three months apart. Bill & Jane Hagelgans. Amy was our officiant for both, because I loved how beautifully she spoke for my Grandfather's service, I requested her again for my Grandmother. All the details she put in to each if their life stories really touched all of our hearts. But for my Grandmother's service just yesterday.. Amy had added in at the end over loud speaker, my Grandmother playing "How Great thou Art" on the church organ. My experience with the York Heffner staff was exemplary. My mother’s service was simply lovely. Every person I came in contact with, from my initial visit through the final service, was warm and professional. Isabella was impeccable in her service to my mother’s life celebration. I can't express enough how pleased I am with the care, compassion and service my family received from Scott Ball at Heffner Funeral when my father passed. Scott arrived at our home at 3am looking like he just stepped out of a boardroom, showed total care and compassion while preparing my dad for transport, and then blew us away when he draped an American flag over dad's body before transporting him to the car. As a very proud Veteran, my dad would have LOVED that small show of honor for his service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory to my friends and family.
