I am a Physical Therapy Assistant student and work at Specialty Physical Therapy. Last year I started a physical therapy assistant program and joined Dr. Kim's team to help with reception and technician tasks. I'm incredibly thankful I crossed paths with this clinic! It has been such a blessing to receive mentorship outside the classroom and be immersed in the daily activities of a physical therapy clinic. SPT strikes a more personal chord with me, too. As someone who has experienced medical trauma I can't tell you what it means to be a part of a clinic that slows down and tends to its patients in a focused and relational way. Every day I'm at the clinic I see the outcomes. To sum it up, I'd highlight the growth--the patients grow to be at ease at SPT, they grow in confidence as their treatment progresses, and they grow in relationships as they get to know each other and the staff. That is why I recommend checking out Specialty Physical Therapy this year if you find yourself or a loved one in need. More than a clinic, it's a healing community.
I just finished my therapy and I have to say Dr Kim and Michelle and everyone there were wonderful!! They treat you like family and push you to help yourself! I felt such an improvement So quickly! They take their time and help you to understand the healing process! Great people all around!!! Highly recommended!!
