Sam is a horrible builder and a thief at that! My house is less then 3 years old and is literally falling apart! My siding blows loose almost every storm, I have soft spots the size of soccer balls in my floors, the tiles in my master bath are popping loose (probably because of the rotting subfloor), the floors were never swept before the carpet was laid so I have nails and screws under it, my wife and I paid extra for upgraded carpet padding (which another carpet company confirmed that it is not!), I've had to rehang 3 doors because they didn't open or close properly, and we paid for an elevator shaft which is framed completely backwards and with 2x6's instead of 2x10 rail backing (which is wrong) which makes it completely useless! We've trying contacting him through phone calls and emails with zero resolutions. We even offered for him to just give us the money back for the upgrades that we paid for and never received. Nope, nothing! He never even addressed our move in punch list. There is literally still mud on the trim work above my front door from when it was laying in the mud before the house was built. Buyer beware, watch EVERY SINGLE STEP of your build or you may be sorry. My recommendation? RUN!!!
