I have been going to the Lyon family for my haircuts since I moved to PA in 1990 and won't ever stray. Even when their only location was in Avoca, and I moved to Wilkes-Barre I would still get my haircuts in Avoca. Then they opened up a location in Wilkes-Barre and that's where Frank and his family have been cutting my hair. This location is all family now, no one else rents any chairs and does their own thing, it's now just a Lyon thing. I'm only 58 so I have a few more haircuts left in my life and that's where you'll find me.

My go to place for haircuts. Highly recommended. Most times you can just walk in for a haircut but during peak times it is recommended you make an appointment. The shave with a straight edge is very nice as well. The place is clean and friendly! Easily accessible.

I have been shaving my entire head for years since the grey hairs started coming out, & this was the first place i gave a shot to cuting my hair & I must say they are top of the line in my book, The hair cut was exactly like i wanted & they treat you with respect & they are very affordable, So I have no problem with telling someone who is looking for a hair-cut To swing by there place & give them your business.
