“My husband had recently had shoulder surgery on his dominant arm. He shaves his head and is unable to lift his arm to do so. I just googled barber shops near me and up popped The Barber Pole.... Right down the street... 3 minutes away! I called and they said I could bring him anytime. So I told my husband to put on his shoes, we're going to the barber. And, boy, am I glad we did. The shop has a unique decor, full of fun stuff, nostalgia and memorabilia. The staff of tattooed guys do a great job are super nice, even the sweetie pup! I'm sure Joe will continue to visit, even after his shoulder heals.“

“A true barber shop thankfully in Murrysville’s town square. Excellent talented barbers who will keep you looking up to date or whatever you want for your look. My family’s artist is Lando however from what I’ve observed you will be happy with all! Atmosphere is welcoming warm and friendly. Highly recommend!

Hair type: He had not been here for two years of growing hair into a pony tail. No problem. He did an amazing job of cleanup and trim. Not an easy task in my observation but an easy one for Lando. All barbers were involved because yes I was there to as I said supervise!

Stylist: Lando. Professional. Friendly and definitely will spend time and care with you. My guy has pony tail long hair. (Had not had his services for two years). He cleaned it up with care. A slight trim. And shaved the neck base. Amazing!!! My son also goes to Lando and does a custom cut that is perfection!“

He most definitely cried the entire time but Roger so gracefully kept cutting his hair and assuring he would be ok! “I have been going to Merola Barber shop for years, as long as i can remember, and my late father went there for years before that. now, it was much more fun before covid when there were more customers in the shop and the joking and conversation was a part of the experience, but since covid, Andy is by appointment only, which has great plusses. “I've had my hair cut here a couple of times over the past year and have been very satisfied EVERY time as I have and will continue to go back again. In addition to the quality haircut the barbers there, father and son and others are as pleasant and friendly as you'd expect from a shop that's been a Bloomfield fixture for many many years and has the welcoming feel of the old fashioned barbershops you see in old movies. Of course the prices are reflective of a few generations back compared to the modern salons which is nice if dad has a few young ones that need a cut as well.
