They get 50 stars out of 5. John and Alan are the best. I’ve had three other companies come to inspect my fireplace and they gave me superficial fixes and told me to give it a try. John and Alan inspected every single corner, found very deep cracks (showed them to me) and told me that it was unsafe to use. Then they sat with me while I filed the insurance claim. I will NEVER go with anyone else again.

I highly recommend Chimney Scientist. Joe, the owner, came out and inspected our fireplace. He was very thorough in describing the identified problems and recommended solutions along with the cost estimates. Most importantly, Joe helped us avoid future problems such as water leakage by detailing the needed exterior work which became our top priority. We are pleased with the work on the exterior and in the future will consider steps to take to make the fireplace functional.

We had antonio inspect the chimney of a house we are potentially purchasing. He was fantastic. On time, thorough, and did a great job answering questions on the implications of different approaches to fixing certain things. Would definitely come to these guys again for inspection needs.
