Our Cape Cod home was 100% electric baseboard and we used window A/C units (5 of them) for cooling. For over 10 years we tried to find someone to install a whole house solution, be it mini-split, ducted, or high velocity. We literally had over 10 people come look and only got one high level proposal. Apparently, our house was too much of a challenge. So we gave up. Then one day I happened to be talking to a guy at church and asked him about it. He smiled and gave me a number for Ryland and said he was a genius and could figure out a way to make anything work. Todd and Ryland came out to have a look and while they did admit it would be a challenge, they said there wasn't really anything they couldn't deal with, causing Todd to reiterate what my friend had said about Ryland's ability to come up with a solution to any install issue. We talked over all the options, all duct, all mini splits, small tube high velocity. We ended up using duct work on the first floor and basement, and mini-splits on the second level. This was a great solution since it allows individual control to each bedroom via the mini-splits. I also went with the heatpump option so I can use the system for heat instead of using the individual baseboard heaters. I highly recommend these guys. Ryland, Todd, and Steve are friendly, professional, and efficient. If you are looking to retrofit your older house that doesn't have central heating/air, these are your guys.
