About The Edge Fitness Clubs

The Edge Fitness Clubs is a 5-star gym with exceptional customer service. The staff, including Josh, Mel, Mike, Lauren, and others, are always helpful. Trainers like Lexi create personalized plans to help members achieve their goals. The gym also offers great tasting shakes made by Scott and Alex. The facility is clean and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Members appreciate the clean bathrooms and dressing rooms, and see the cleaning crew working hard regularly. The sauna is a nice feature, though it is turned off more often lately, sometimes as early as 5PM, which some members find disappointing. The gym has a cool protein shake bar and plenty of pre-workout or protein drinks in the fridge. There is a cinema section with treadmills and other cardio machines to enjoy while watching a movie, offering a theatre experience minus the popcorn. A women-only section is available, which many find enjoyable. The gym maintains a comfortable temperature, allowing members to work out without getting drenched. Some members suggest adding more trap bars for deadlifts, as they notice this equipment is missing compared to other gyms. Overall, the Edge Fitness Clubs provides a clean, well-equipped, and friendly environment with attentive staff that truly cares.

We visited family in Devon, and my boys wanted access to a good gym while we were there. We were able to obtain a pass for the week. We’d highly recommend this gym. Staff were very patient, friendly, and accommodating. And the gym has everything my boys needed. My boys said this location had a good atmosphere all around.

If we lived there, it would definitely be the place for us. Thanks for everything.

Too crowded and poor equipment maintenance.

This location has oversold memberships for its size. 4:30-7 pm is a zoo with almost all weight machines and dumbbells tied up. 6-7:30 am marginally better but not much. It’s also a very young crowd who tend to spend more time sitting around talking & texting while tying up equipment than actually using it.

Maintenance is a joke with equipment, especially cardio, down for weeks at a time - in some cases like the stationary bikes for months.

On the plus side, membership can be way less expensive than higher end gyms - you get what you pay for.

My main edge fitness is in Plymouth Meeting but this location is only 15 minutes from my work so I am starting to go here afterwards. I loved it! Loved the layout and was greeted when I first walked in. Can’t wait to start going here after work!
