“I got married at the beginning of August and am so glad I went with Something You Beauty for our hair and makeup! I was looking for a place that could channel the natural, soft glam look I was hoping for, and they provided exactly that. Since we had a church ceremony and a bit of time before we could access our reception site, we booked the suite at the salon to get ready- I had 8 bridesmaids, myself, and parents, and it was the perfect backdrop for our morning. Quiet, clean, and a pretty backdrop for getting ready photos. We also did the first looks in the courtyard, which provided beautiful scenery.

My makeup and hair lasted all day & night, and looked absolutely seamless. Hayley worked with me to get exactly what I was picturing, and was so open to adjustments. But really, there weren’t many needed because she nailed it! I felt glowy and beautiful the entire day, start to finish.

They were organized and easy to work with from a planning perspective. The timeline they provided for all of our girls ensured that the morning flowed seamlessly. We never felt rushed or behind schedule. They were professional, kind, and attentive.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Salon DeSante, especially with Catie and Megan! I came in with tape-in extensions that were not installed at this salon, and they had caused serious knotting and adhesive build-up. What could have been a stressful, uncomfortable appointment turned out to be the total opposite.

Catie was absolutely phenomenal — kind, patient, and incredibly skilled. She took her time carefully removing the extensions and gently working through the tangles without causing any pain or damage to my hair. Megan was also amazing and stepped in to help, and together they made what could have been a nightmare feel easy and even relaxing.

“Okay if you are looking for a new hair salon (or even if you’re not) THIS IS THE PLACE. I recommend it to literally all of my friends. The girls here are SO nice and attentive. I came in with a vision that a previous salon told me was impossible and not only did they make it happen, they made it better than I expected. Rachel is so cool and has such a calming vibe like I am such a doormat and get so anxious with haircuts/color because I always worry my asks are too much. Rachel took everything I said to heart and did the dang thing fr. Also, even though I LOVE my hair, if something was off I would’ve 10000% been comfortable to communicate that to her (HUGE for the socially anxious community). Anyways they’re awesome and i’m done rambling LOL.
