i recently had back surgery at Washington hospital and had to stay overnight. From the minute I walked into that hospital until the time I was discharged I was treated very well. The person who prepped me for the surgery could not have been nicer and more caring. The anesthesiologists listened to everything I said and I was not sick at all after surgery. Recovery room person very nice, X-ray techs super nice too not to mention all the nurses, doctors etc who came into my room to treat me or check on me. Overall it was a very good experience and I had to put it in writing for people to read! And did I mention my surgeon was the best!
my husband was admitted February 9th 2023 for chest pain , within 12 hours he received numerous tests and had an angioplasty procedure performed . numerous clogged arteries one blood cloth and 3 stents later he is on the road of recovery . the cardiologist Dr. Sun Scolieri did an excellent work , she explained everything with a video of the procedure. the staff , nurses , doctors were all wonderful, I can't say enough about the hospital, THANK YOU so much
On September 1, 2017, my husband presented to the ER of Washington Hospital with chest pain and nausea. He was immediately taken to an appropriate room for assessment which included IV placement, ecg and pain management. Within minutes of his arrival, he went into full blown cardiac arrest. Within seconds, he was intubated and CPR was initiated. After 25 minutes of CPR and 15 defibrillations, he was resuscitated. When stabilized he went to the cath lab which had a full staff waiting for him. He had 2 stents placed in his right coronary artery. From the cath lab, he went to the ICU where he received excellent care. He was discharged to home 4 days later walking upright with no neurological deficits. He is still doing quite well all things considered. I still cry when I think about that day. I know that God answered our prayers and saved his life but these people were absolutely amazing. I have worked in a major university hospital for over 30 years and I have never seen a team operate like the ones who were in the ER on the night that my husband went there. I am so amazed and so grateful for their incredible, knowledge and care for him. I know that he is alive today because God used them to save him. I will always recommend this hospital for care.
