On 1/25/2022 we had our taxes done hoping we would get an early refund.On 2/25/2022 we received a letter from the IRS stating there was no documentation sent that would substantiate our refund of $6649. The letter requested we forward the necessary paperwork for them to proceed with handling our refund request. Upon receipt of the requested paperwork, we should get our refund in 8-10 weeks.I contacted LNC and told Nadine about the letter from the IRS and about our paperwork that was not sent electronically with our 1040 tax return.
