I originally asked for hard gel, but I was recommended to get the hybrid gel, which I have never heard of until today. The hybrid gel polish is designed to combine the best features of traditional nail polish with the durability and strength of gel polish. “Had a nice first experience at Lux T Nails on 12/31. I called the morning of and made an appt for two pedis later that afternoon. The entrance to the parking lot can be easy to miss but the place itself isn't hard to find and is just off of route 30/Lancaster in Berwyn (down the road from Nectar). We arrived and signed in on the iPad and picked out our colors. The salon seemed clean and had nice holiday decor out, I always appreciate when people make an effort. They were playing pop music at an appropriate level so it provided good background noise but wasn't overwhelming. It was relatively busy and we were seated in our pedi chairs after maybe 10 minutes, and then waited another 10 min for the nail techs. Only knock is my tech became available first so I was a good 10-15 min into my pedi before my mom's got started. Not a huge deal especially since the actually pedis were well done and not rushed at all. It makes a huge difference when they take their time and I felt that here. Price is $40 for a regular pedi (plus tip) so not inexpensive but you get hot stone treatment and it's worth it to me for a clean setting and good polish. All in all, I plan to come back for future appointments!“

“I came because of the great reviews and will definitely be coming back! This has been by far the best nail salon experience I’ve had beginning with the initial phone call to make an appointment, all the way to the finished product.

I called the salon and was immediately greeted with a kind a bubbly individual who even went out of her way to provide directions to the location, as it is in somewhat of a hidden spot. I made an appointment for a pedicure, and a gel mani/pedi for two people.

Upon arrival, they were prompt to seat us in the pedicure chairs to get us started. The hot stone pedicure was incredible and the ladies pay great attention to detail! They were thorough and efficient. My gel pedicure also came out perfectly!

After my pedicure, I got a gel manicure done in which I received the best cuticle cleaning of my life. I have never seen nippers move so quickly! I am so happy with the results and the kind workers that gave us incredible service with our first visit here.

When I checked the time, I couldn’t believe we were in and out in under two hours! The time most definitely did not compromise the quality of their work, however.

EDIT: It has been over a month and I have experienced no lifting or chipping. Amazing quality gel manicure! Gel pedicure is grown out but also still looks perfect.“

Every time I enter the door, I am greeted. Everyone is very helpful and polite. Prices are a plus as to why I continue to use her services. Even, if they were not, it's hard to find someone that is really passionate about what they do. Joy has passion in what she does and her expertise is very welcomed in my book. “I’ve been here several times when I want to be sure my mani pedi is down exactly right (ie formal events including my own wedding). I’ve mostly seen Vicky but have been very happy with other technicians as well because - They. Do. Not. Miss!! Yes it’s pricey but I’d rather have it done right than have to correct in a few days due to a poor job. And to top it off I love that the aesthetic is very clean with classical music to complement the vibe“

“I loved my waterless pedicure with Janet. It’s a very relaxing experience, and I left with my feet buttery smooth. I love how much she focuses the service on cuticle clean up and callus smoothing, which she noted they can really focus on because your feet are dry so they can really see the areas of concern. I didn’t miss the foot soak whatsoever! I also loved that she used a light dremel on my calluses too. The whole pedicure is very detailed and I love all the products used and all the steps she did.
