Joe was my stylist. He was great and gave me exactly what I was asking for. We had a lot in common and had great conversation so the visit was enjoyable.

This is more my fault than anything, but I was not expecting a long cut to be $80. I have had a previous colleague or a family member cut my hair the past few years so I've only been paying around $30 + a nice tip. I know that's low but I figured a cut wouldn't be more than $50-65. I almost called back to ask but I incorrectly assumed pricing would be reasonable.

Let me tell you, I clenched my butt cheeks when I checked out and she told me my trim was $80. I proceeded to ask my long-haired gals in PA what a fair market value is for a standard long hair cut/trim. I received the responses of: $45, $50, $60, $65.

I would take off another star simply because the pricing is WAY too much for the value (at least for my needs, anyway). However, it is my fault for assuming pricing would be reasonable and not having asked when I booked or calling back to ask about pricing. I also just looked after the fact and see that pricing online is $65+ for a woman's cut.

It is totally my fault for not asking/checking pricing online, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that has encountered sticker shock when checking out for my services here.

That being said, Joe you were fantastic and I told you I would be back, but unless I am in a pinch, I will be looking for somewhere else local to find my permanent new stylist.“

Requested style: I showed Josey pictures of what I had in mind and she listened attentively and understood what I wanted and she certainly came through and did not disappoint! She's an excellent stylist.

Hair type: Fine, thinning hair. The cut she gave me added more body and volume.

Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean salon and a comfortable environment.“

I thought two solid days of massage wouldn’t be able to do the trick! Aaron was also excellent at “reading the room”. “Valerie did such a fabulous job for my honey that she went ahead and scheduled me for a facial without asking me first (ugh right?) The better half kept forcing me to "feel her face" due to how smooth it was! The option she chose was called Dermaplaning, a light scrapping of the layer of dead skin like derabrasion with her facial. I typically shy away from facials as they typically cause my skin to break out. After some arm twisting, I reluctantly agreed. On appointment day, I arrived at the location. Valerie is a one women shop that operates out of a building that leases out to various smaller salons, barbers and businesses. She performed an European facial and used a probiotic face application to prevent any break outs taking into account my past experiences I shared. It turns out the treatment did not cause a breakout and definitely worth the time. Recommended.“
