This was my first time coming to this shop. This is why I gave 4 stars:PROS- fully staffed by 9am. I had to count at least 15 braiders old and young. There 4 to a head on individuals, and customers were walking out in 2 hours. They open at 8 am which I like because most African Shops don't open until 10 am or you have to call. They were walking in at 8am. I was out in two hours.CONS- Shop is not clean. The floor needs a good sweeping and mopping. Seats need to be wiped down. I smelled a strong piss smell from one of the seats. The place is wreak of weed from the apartments behind the building . I would suggest opening the door to air it out. I am a new customer getting box braids. The service was phenomenal, the staff was accommodating to my every need and answered every question with professionalism. I most definitely will return when I need a touchup. I have found me a new salon!Service: Box Braids

I contacted this location after having another 8:30 am appointment at another salon. The owner/operator of the salon was telling me that she couldn't arrange my hair for a style that I showed her. I asked her to make a recommendation for a style for me. She either did not understand my request or I didn't make myself clear to her. I left, because I was frustrated with her and with myself. I called this salon, Siah Hair Braiding, I googled it, at the last minute and obtained an appointment with these lovely people, after the owner asked me to come in and show her the style I wanted and she wanted to see my natural hair.
