I have always been a believer in chiropractic but after having a bad experience at the last office I was going to, I was hesitant to find a new place to go after leaving the practice. I did not have chiropractic care for a few years. I started going to Swede Family Chiropractic 20 weeks into my first pregnancy. I was having some back pain due to my changing body and I knew that chiropractic was a safe and effective option for relief. I also wanted to make sure my baby was in the right position for delivery. I found Dr. Swede through my husband and mom. They were already getting care from this practice so I knew it was a good place to go. I went in for a consultation and immediately hit it off with Dr. Doug, Dr. Fred and Carrie Ann. The doctors are trained and experienced in the Webster technique for pregnancy. It definitely helped me feel better to get adjusted each week while pregnant. I will also attribute my smooth labor and delivery experience partially to the chiropractic care that I received. I was able to have the delivery I wanted without complications. I highly recommend you going throughout your pregnancy. It helps you and baby work as a team through development and delivery. Dr. Doug and Dr. Fred continue to adjust my family and I. I getting adjusted has helped me in my recovery. My husband and I need it more than ever now that we have a baby to carry. Our bodies and backs have more stress from carrying our growing baby around, leaning over to play, and the list goes on. Our baby also gets adjusted on a weekly basis. I notice a difference in his body too. It helps to regulate him and sleep better. We have had family get adjusted here when they are visiting from out of town and they feel great after their adjustment too. F I highly recommend this practice to our family and friends.
