I have been to Porcelina Rae and seen Shannon for a variable of hair needs. She is always upbeat, cheerful, kind and professional. I’ve had color, cut, highlights and have always been pleased. I always leave feeling polished and pampered. To be noted, I have very curly hair and she always has it falling perfectly into place.

I don't write reviews often. Lori is just that phenomenal! I'm 23 and was looking for a big change. I wanted to chop off a lot of hair and color it. I was really nervous before my appointment but I have truly never been happier with a haircut and color in my life. I feel more myself than ever and for the first time in a long time I truly feel beautiful when I look in the mirror. Lori also saw I was wearing my mask and we talked about my upcoming vacation and she put on a mask for my comfort. So thoughtful and kind! I will be coming to Lori from now on! I haven't been to a hairdresser since Christmas 2019. I've been trimming my own bangs since then. That hasn't been working out for me anymore. I pulled up to the place I used to go and they had an eviction notice on the door. So I asked yelp for a "hairdresser near me" and Porcelina Rae was one of the choices. "Cool name" I thought, so off I went. What a great decision. I arrived, she has chairs sitting outside, 6 ft apart. She saw me, came out, asked me what I was there for. I responded, she invited me in. Her name is Tara. She wiped off the chair and had me sit. I stayed masked the entire time, as did she. Tara asked me how I wanted my bangs done. She listened to me and cut them exactly how I wanted them. Unlike many other places I've gone before. I know what I want, it might not be what other people think is "flattering" but I'm not going for flattering. I'm going for "me".We had comfortable banter, she was done in 5 minutes and she charged me $7. $7? Yup $7. That's a deal at twice the price cuz it's perfect! Thank you Tara. Perfect haircut in a place I felt comfortable and safe from COVID.
