“Update 11/3. I decided to try the new doctor in the practice, Dr Nader. Our appointment was at 9:15. She arrived in the office at 9:30. She looked at us in the waiting room and said nothing. When she came out to bring us back a few minutes later, she didn’t say a word about the fact that she was late. I know things happen but would have appreciated at least an acknowledgement given that we were missing school and work. I will stick with Dr Rehak in the future.Previous reviewI have been a patient of Dr. Rehak's for over 15 years. I have recommended Colonial Family Eyecare to many friends. My entire family goes here as well. Dr. Rehak takes his time to explain our eye health. He worked with me to find a lasik provider that would be a good fit for me. I never feel rushed in an appointment or while picking out frames. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. Debby is absolutely amazing. She is always patient and friendly. She knows the insurance plans very well and is always helpful navigating the various plans we have been on.“

“I've been a customer for 33 years because Dr. Kirshner, Cindi, Tori, and Dianne are that good. First, the office staff is kind, respectful, and welcoming to all. After a few visits, you will feel like family, and I believe that comes from the leadership Dr. Kirshner provides. First impression is a smile, a welcome and I never feel rushed.The office is modern and in a bustling mall, yet the service has a small-town, customer-centric feel. Dr. Kirshner gets the prescription right every time. Cindi is a master at sourcing a wide range of the latest quality frame styles and matching them to the customer's face. She takes her time and is sincerely helpful. The rest of the team is highly competent as well. Tori and Dianne provide the same friendly competent service in their respective areas of the business and have been with the practice for years. In all the time I have been a customer, I've never had to go back because the prescription or the focal point of the vision was not right.Fourteen years ago, I moved to New England and still go back to KOP to visit this practice and order glasses. They get it right, are flexible, and work with the customer. “I received such great customer service this past Friday when i called the Royersford office to see if they would be able to fix my husband's eyeglasses (and his spare pair as well!) She said I could stop in anytime before they close at 1:00 and they'd take a look at them. When I got there, Hannah worked on the glasses so patiently, and had them repaired in no time at all. She was extremely nice - even gave me a couple extra screws in case it happens again. I truly appreciate that she was able to repair them before the weekend! My husband and I have been going to Colonial Family Eyecare for well over 20 years and have always been pleased!“

“Dr. Ted is the best. He has been my eye doctor since I was a child. I experienced a corneal abrasion and Dr. Ted treated me immediately and even gave me his personal phone number to contact him if my eye was not healing. He truly cares about his patients. I left his practice (due to moving to a different area), went to a different eye doctor, and then switched back to Dr. Ted. He is worth the drive. His expertise is unmatched. 10/10 recommend. “Dr. Deangelis was wonderful. She is actually open on Thursdays late so I could get in after work and I could request an appt online. They sent me a text to confirm appt options and my appt went super smooth. I felt comfortable and well informed. Afterwards Sarah helped me pick out some cute frames(that everyone was very straightforward with what everything I'd want would cost with my insurance) and measure my face and 8 days later I have my new glasses. They feel so good and I can read all the tiny numbers I need to for work. ?“

“I visited for the first time today, in need of a prescription for new progressive eyeglasses. The staff made the appointment and a schedule change effortless. I saw Dr. Haak. I am super-impressed. I came in sort of dazed with lack of knowledge about insurance, how to deal with problems I'd encountered with my previous glasses, and of course stress that comes with vision problems. When I left I felt well looked after, educated, and cared about. Mary did an initial screening and Dr. Haak saw me promptly. I received a thorough eye exam accompanied by an understanding and kind style. Then, Kathy as well as the doctor guided me through the selection process. Brian marked and fit the progressive lenses. Everything is done, they'll call when the glasses are ready, and I feel confident. This is my third time getting a prescription and being fitted for eyeglasses and this experience was the best so far. Note: Be sure you know where the building is when you go for your first appointment. It's in a business park with many offices. When I scheduled the appointment I was given a tip on how to drive left and back etc. Update: Got em! The correction they offer is wonderful: so nicely fine-tuned for all purposes: reading, checking a dashboard or computer, and driving. Very glad I came here.“

She explained the purpose and result of every test she performed, listened to any questions or comments I had, and fully explained my insurance coverage so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Plenty of name brand frames to choose from as well. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. As long as I’m in the KOP area I will visit Dr. Even for my glasses/contacts.“
