Brandon came, checked it out and it needed a new fan motor. took about a week to come in. they called to reschedule for today between 8-12. came about 9, took old motor and fan off. was unable to get fan off of shaft as it's like 40 yrs old. took back to shop, no luck, so he took it too a plumbing store and they were able to heat it and get it off with a machine puller. He came back about 1130 with assembled unit and put it in , had to make a few minor adjustment, and hey presto, started right up and runs better now with new motor. cooled down right away.. so now for another 40 yrs, not that i'll see it.
Mike and Shawn were the installation technicians that installed the AirEase unit. To my surprise, (good not bad), the old Rheem unit was taken away. Well done! The technicians were extremely courteous, excellent, and very professional. The installation went smooth and if you happen to have them do the work, you won’t go wrong. As promised, the new thermostat was also installed. We’re very pleased & we highly recommend RJ Groner Co.
