They were hired to paint a house and subcontracted the house to me. Then when I was finished, they never paid. They handed me a contract to sign after the fact that included things like forfeiting my tools. Dont thinks so!

I wish I could give 0 stars, as that would be more accurate. To say my experience with Trubuild and Justin Harford was a nightmare would be a massive understatement. He was supposed to have our renovations project finished complete within 6 months of us closing on our house, per the mortgage lender contract (FHA 203k renovation mortgage). It's now almost been 10 months and we're not even close to finished. The exterior is in worse condition now than before they even started. The interior work was very poor for the most part, and often lead to arguments about doing things the right way the first time, as many projects had to be re-done/corrected. Our tub was installed incorrectly which has led to water damage on our walls. The workers would smoke in our 1st floor bathroom and the smell will not go away no matter what we do. I could go on and on. Justin is hands down one of the most dishonest unethical people who's ever walked this planet. He has absolutely zero conscience, and does not care one iota about the harm his ways cause people. He blatantly stole $11,000 from the HVAC subcontractors who worked on our house. He was about to try to attempt the same scheme with a siding crew, but I fired him before he could. He's a horrible person down to his core. Nothing is EVER his fault or his company's fault. He's very experienced and skillful at attempting to deflect any responsibility for anything. He should be avoided like the plague. Do not make the same mistake I did by hiring him. You'll be very sorry if you do.

The owner of that business Justin Harford previously operated as landscaping company and filed for a bankruptcy covering up his bad practices. Now, Trubuild Company was brought back to fix our property in our absence and without our knowledge by a bad and tricky management Park Forest Enterprises. Without our knowledge Trubuild was hired by PFE and we have been left with theft, vandalism and a lot of damages that cost us over $15,000.00 and after six months I stepped into 12 inches of water in the basement along with claimed renovation on the first floor and basement finished, which was covered with water and mold and second floor was never done. State College Police Borough refused to investigate appropriately vandalism, theft, intentional damages, misplaced insurance money and sealed their report,Right to Know Act did not help and DAO did not help either. Law enforcement refused to do their job and charge bad businessmen who well known for them as thieves.
