The vet and tech have always been wonderful and kind to me. Reception wise, not so much. Always got attitude and im unsure if it's because i'm young with an animal, or just because someone is miserable, but regardless I have been giving this vet money for 3 years, and trusting them caring for my dog and I wish that I was treated with a bit more respect when walking through the doors.

Recently got a pet and have been looking for a good vet in the area. After reading all the wonderful reviews on this page about this specific animal hospital, I decided I would like to get in contact with them. I called and spoke to a woman on the phone and it was made very clear they are not looking for ANY new clients. I was calling to get a rough estimate on some tests and without even giving me a price the woman on the phone rudely interrupts me and tells me they will NOT be accepting any new clients until 5 weeks out. She ended the conversation with that not even asking if i was still interested. It was shown clear to me in the 2 minutes I was speaking to the woman on the phone that this is not a welcoming environment I would like to bring my pet to. If you are a new pet owner and looking for a vet don't even bother calling they clearly don't want any new clients.

Centre Animal Hospital is busy and for a great reason! The staff is fantastic. I needed a last minute visit for Raina, as a new client. Judy on the phone was kind, helpful and patient. Nick, the Vet Tech was gentle with Raina and the vet, DVM Heisey was reassuring and knowledgeable. When your pets are in need, it's great to go to an animal hospital that truly cares. They go out of their way to be nice and helpful. Recommend and know where I'll be going while I'm in State College!
