I have been coming here for a while and didn’t realize that ownership had changed but seeing the other reviews gives backstory. My cat’s appointment was at noon but she wasn’t seen until late 12:30ish. She has anxiety going to the vet and doesn’t like a carrier so the waiting only made things worse. She was fine during the exam until she was covered with a blanket suddenly and things turned left. While she was able to be sedated for her service, after pickup the vet kept referring to her as a him as if he wasn’t sure who the patient was. I cannot say enough good things about Southampton Veterinary Hospital. The owner was incredibly kind, understanding, and genuinely compassionate. The staff was professional, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease.

Draxx and I really like going to Southampton Vet. Everyone is so nice, calm, and professional. I never feel like we are getting rushed in and out. The doctor really listens to your concerns as a parent, and the staff is so attentive. Draxx loves going to see his medicine people. Whenever we have an issue, they get him in ASAP, which, as a parent is very important to me. Highly recommend if you are tired of corporate business.
