I’m only giving him one star because I had to choose one. De denning is the WORST dentist. I have been going to him all my life thinking he was doing what was best for my teeth. I get cleanings every 6 months and yearly X-rays. My last appointment with him, he had to reconstruct a tooth because the cavity was so large from him not taking care of it. Every time I would go in there, he would say you’re good to go! Never once mentioning that my tooth was decaying! It’s a back one so I didn’t even notice. I expected him to know his job. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter. I called they day of to confirm the time which they did confirm. I then asked if I could give them her insurance information. They told me they already ran it from her name and date of birth and it was inactive. They refused to run the card number, as I just received her new card in the mail and know that she does have insurance. They admitted they had no intentions on calling me to inform her her insurance came up inactive, and were just going to wait until after I pulled my daughter out of school and arrived to tell me her insurance was inactive. Extremely unprofessional.

Sorry about your poor experiences. I can attest that Dr. Denning is excellent with children. I visited him when I was little. I can also understand that it is frustrating for both him and you when your child acts up in public. Let's all try to see this from each other's perspective. Be glad he isn't diagnosing fillings that don't need to be done just to get money.
