LOVE the new recycling cans we continue to be unable to use as our recycling hasn't been picked up in over 10 years....do we get a tax refund for services we continue to pay for and never receive??? Didn't think so....

Numerous phone calls to Mascaro & Carbondale City Hall to pick up last week's recycling since we FINALLY thought we could recycle....

On top of last week's calls....I had to call Mascaro three times the day we got the new cans to let them know that according to the multiple people at city hall it took to answer "what day is my recycling picked up?" we got picked up on Monday NOT Thursday like they told me. Waiting 4+ weeks for our trash cans to arrive while Louis Mascaro hosts Jay Leno at his brand new automobile museum. Good to know where our money going. Trash is piling up, and the people on the phone tell us next week, next week, next week. The owner should be ashamed at this failure of the most basic services. Can’t believe we are stuck with this disgrace.

Garbage pick-up just came through. After throwing a bag of garbage and missing the truck, some of the contents of the bag ended up on the road (as usual). This time it was gelatin-like food, feces, a nail, glass, and plastic. Unfortunately, this happens often. The service is inefficient, non-hygienic, unreliable, not productive, and just plain disgusting. I'm tired of cleaning up the road after the truck goes my street. I'll post a pic if I can.
