My husband and I met John in 2020 when we were interested in purchasing a fixer upper and having extensive renovations done through an FHA 203k loan. John was a pleasure to work with - he gave us a thorough estimate, was patient throughout the process, and looked out for us along the way. He is knowledgable and his craftsmanship is unmatched. Our project consisted of essentially gutting the entire first floor, reconfiguring the layout, preserving/relocating architectural features of the 1930s home, new windows, electrical, and much more. J. C. S. Building and Remodeling has done many projects for us over the years. They do such good jobs that I don't even think twice about hiring him again. Over the last 10 years he has put a new roof on my house and garage, painted my rooms inside the house. Last fall I discovered my garage was collapsing. I didn't even think about it, I called JSC, John looked at the problem, told me what was needed. My garage turned out great, almost like a new building. I am very satisfied with his work. I would hire him again in a heart beat.
