“The work hasn’t been done yet; today was the assessment. Craig was exactly on time if not a little early and had pictures to show need for recommended work. It was a pleasure working with such a responsive company and representative.“
“Overall a good experience, but definitely a few issues along the way. At this point for my current paid amount, I feel like I got an appropriate value. The workers were efficient and had the job done in two days. Whole process from quote to "done" was about 3 weeks. Project manager Nate Gamboa was a godsend during the whole process. Salesperson has ghosted as I'm still waiting for a callback for voicemails left while the project was an hour in. Also not happy with how a core component of the job itself was misunderstood by sales to the point of not being able to be completed.
Just to reiterate, Nate was the best PM I could have asked for. The majority of my issues are due to the Salesperson.

The Good:
* Fast quote, competitive price
* Mostly fair prices for wood repair
* Project Manager Nate was fantastic to work with. Great communication
* Workers definitely worked hard (7am-8pm the first day)
* Minor issues after completion were corrected within 24 hours
* Work appears to be mostly well done
* Warranty
* Thorough cleanup

The Bad:
* Told after the job was mostly done that a key portion of the job was unable to be completed despite sales reassuring us multiple times it was no problem
* Still finalizing the details of the grand total due to a contract error - (Corrected 3 weeks later)
* Sales unresponsive to calls to figure out contract/billing error
* They gave the dumpster guy my information to arrange for drop off/pick up without telling me
* Debris was left in my neighbors yard until the end of day two

Details of the difficulties:
The main reason we had the roof replaces was because we had what we thought was a leaking sewer vent in our flat roof and we wanted someone to cut into the roof to check for damage figured that they could slip a PVC fitting over the iron pipe below the roofline. Sales assured us that it wouldn't be a problem. -- It ended up being a problem and couldn't/wouldn't be done.
Our sales associate noted during our initial inspection that we had a roof with multiple repairs. Multiple layers of flashing and shingles. (This is important later) We didn't really want to replace the shingle roof, but ended up making that investment.
While we went over the contract, he went through each item line by line. We defined a price for replacing the thinner wood sections and the flat sheets.
After signing the paperwork and waiting the 3 days RTC, Bethany called and scheduled our job for about 1.5 weeks later.
Guys get here on the day of the job and everything is going smoothly. About 2 hours into it, Nate lets me know that they guys found extra layers of shingles and there would be an extra charge to remove them based on the contract. Puzzled, I ask him to show me in the contract where it defines a price for that. It turns out sales never defined that price and then signed off on the contract. Nate tells me I should get a hold of Sales to discuss, so I call him and leave a vm plus text. (8/28)
Job gets finished the next day, guys clean up really well. Still nothing from Sales. Chatting with Nate about the payment and I told him I have no problem paying for the job and the extra for the rotted wood they replaced. I will not pay for something that was not defined in my contract that would raise the cost of the job 18%.
I asked for a final bill for my records on Friday (Nate was paid on Thursday) and I received the change request for extra shingles, but not for the wood. I ended up calling in to Bethany at the office. She said that sales would call me right back or she herself would follow up in an hour or two. -- Never heard back.

Nate followed up on Friday as well asking if sales had contacted me, which they have not. He said give them one more week and let him know if I've still heard nothing.

I “

“Justin is very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose our problem where multiple roof lines intersected causing a leak only when a rain storm would come a certain direction. He was timely neat and cleaned up when he was finished. Also, reasonably priced. I would highly recommended Justin to tackle any job you would have needing attention.“

“We recently had multiple roofs replaced by Marvesta remodeling and roofing. We had severe damage from a hail storm and Marvesta was prompt in responding with a estimate and working with our insurance company. I would recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services.“

“So about 2 weeks ago I had returned home to find my kitchen ceiling leaking. Due to all the rain we’ve been having for like the past 8 years straight! Anyhow it eventually led up to me discovering it was time for a roof replacement. So fast forward to today I had arrived home to my new roof all installed and looking shiny and new. It has shades of blues grays and blacks. Standing back and looking at it, it has a nice blue hue to it. I Really think it updates the look of the house. I love it.

I had decided to go with John Family Home Improvements for the install. They we're great to work with absolutely no pressure at all. I had discovered my issue on a Thursday they were at my home Friday to look things over. Laid out all my options for me repairing vs replacing gave me all the time I needed to make my decision. Once that decision was made it was super quick yet again. Only took about a week turn around to get to the finished product! And I must say the finished looks amazing.

If your In need of any roofing work I could not recommend them enough!“
