“CAUTION, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE ........Our dog got very sick.Upon taking him to this vet we were told we coukd pay $150.00 for quick blood and get answers in 30 minutes instead of waiting for days.This quick test was gunna tell us if anything very serious was wrong with his organs,well we got the results and were told that they didn't aee anything that woukd cause concern,that his liver and kidneys were fine. We were sent home with steroids. Well our dog died within 7 days of our visit,when we called to let the vet know we were told that our dog was very very sick . The lady on the phone said she can see in our chart that someone tried to send us an email but it never went through,but no further effort was givin to try and contact us...... Uuuummmmm WHAT!......she said sorry and that is it,they had no answers as to why nobody ever tried to call us,or even make an effort to reach us in any way what so ever,nor did we get an answer as to why we paid extra money for fast blood work that obviously either doesn't really work,OR the test was never even looked at in this office. He may have died anyways but at least we would have known the outcome,instead we were living on a dream and a prayer,(and the word of our vet)that he was gunna be ok. In conclusion I thought it be important to let others know or at least have some information before relying on these so called " fast results" tests,to not put all your eggs in that basket. Someone dropped the ball on this one,and our dog isn't around to run after that ball or any other ball again.BTW we were never givin a refund and we have never heard from this office again. Hopefully one day they will realize that our animals are our children,their lives and care should be taken seriously as if they were humans cuz their loss cuts us just as deep“

“We have been going to schwenksville vet for about 8 years. Front desk staff is friendly. The office is clean. Wait times are typically minimal. The nurses and doctors always get down and greet our dogs. It does take a while to schedule a well visit, but other visits are easy to schedule. I had to use other vet offices for my foster pup for coverage reasons - it was an eye-opener. Schwenksville vet is all around a great choice for vetininary care!“

“I had my first visit here today. I will never go anywhere else. Christy is AMAZING. I have two dogs, one is a challenge as she had previously been in a hoarding situation, had been abused, and had a bite on her record. By the time we left, I swear Lucy and Christy were best buddies. Do your animals a favor and give them the best possible care. YOU MUST GO HERE!“

“I had our first visit to this office Feb 12 for my GCC Rocket. Dr. C came highly recommended by another bird owner. I was very impressed. The office was immaculate, the wait time was few minutes and Dr C was very thorough and provided a broad range of information to me, to ensure my pet was getting the right foods and care to live a long happy life.I do not normally review on social media but they very much deserve a shout out for such a great experience. ?“

“Can not even begin to explain the caring professionalism this place provided to my pet and family yesterday. My dog has been ill for 5 months now and we drove 30 mins to this highly recommended veterinary hospital. Dr Achtel saw all the stress my dog has been under and completely laid on the floor to gain his trust. They now have a new patient at RVH.“

“We've been coming to Phoenixville Animal Hospital since we moved to the area in 2021. They helped us with of our senior cat, Alistare, with such care during the height of the pandemic. Alistare had diabetes and was an old gal and the team here took us in! Sadly Al left us last year. We so appreciated the care and service that we decided to bring our new girls, Arty and Thenie, here for their vet care! They are young and healthy girls. If you have a pet that requires more intense care or young healthy ones, this is a great place to visit. I recommend this place!“

Her bunny got very sick overnight and this vet got us an immediate appt in a snow storm, did everything they could for her and then needed to put her to sleep to end her suffering. It was not even a huge cost. They were so kind to my daughter and sent her this lovely card with many hand written notes from the staff. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping ease my baby through her first loss. Your kindness will never be forgotten.“

“We have been seeing Dr. Shreiber for a few years now and we've always had outstanding care -- but we had an emergency visit this week that exceeded even our regular expectations. My dog needed stitches in her head (a terrifying moment as a dog parent) and everyone on the staff worked with us to get her in asap and taken care of - from the front desk, to the vet staff, to Dr. Shreiber himself - our pup was treated quickly and compassionately.
