Matt at "Sit Means Sit" in Rochester, PA is fantastic! He has a very no-nonsense and direct approach, that is efficient, logical, and most importantly, effective. He was able to help us understand and change the behaviors of our often times very headstrong dog (an 8yr old Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix). There was nearly an immediate transformation in our dog's behavior and we couldn't be happier nor could we promote Matt any higher. He's fantastic! Go see him, both you and your dog will be happy you did.
We brought our mini golden doodle Milo to see Matt when he was 14 weeks old. We have had dogs in the past, but we were a lot younger. Matt worked with us/Milo and he is the best. Milo is a very smart dog and is now almost 5 months old and does exactly what he is told to do. Thank you Matt for an exceptional service you provide! We couldn’t be more satisfied ?
This is the first time my husband and I did any sort of dog training and Matt was and continues to be awesome to work with. He has so much knowledge and experience and he was able to help us train our adopted cattle dog mix of 1-2 years old. We've made incredible progress with basic commands, potty training, leash training, behaving during car rides, and handling distractions. I only recommend working with Matt if you plan on actually putting the time and effort into the training - if not you will be wasting your time and money!
